After a long wait ...

It's been a long time since The Prodigies have been active, and since we've posted something new here ! This is just to recap what has happened in the past few months in 2011.

Mish has retired from The Prodigies and Beyblade itself. Thank you for all you've done to contribute to the team, you were a great blader and a big part of the team. You will be missed.

The Prodigies leader: Omega, was ranked #2 on the WBO Worldwide Rankings for a reasonable amount of time, he has now dropped down to #4.

On December 10, 2011 the Victorian Beyblade Championships took place. The best bladers from the state had come together for one big tournament to try their luck and see how far they get. The Prodigies leader: Omega, took first place and the title of 2011 Victorian Beyblade Champion.

A tournament is being planned for mid-late February in which The Prodigies are preparing for. Since we have lost Mish, we will be looking for a worthy replacement.

September 17 was the Calling out Marcus Ly tournament held in Glen Waverley, Melbourne Australia. Only one Prodigies member competed, that was team leader; Omega.

The results:
First Place: Omega
Second Place: Chaos Blader
Third Place: tehfez

The Prodigies' only participant achieved first place and his third straight tournament victory. Team UniquE had two of their members in the finals, and even when the odds were against Omega he pulled through.

The results are in...

The winners are:
First place: OMEGA ! The Prodigies leader pulled off an intense win with only one loss through out the entire tournament.
Second place: tehfez ! Congratulations to UniquE member tehfez for pulling of an impressive victory.
Third place: Resistance ! Another Prodigies member ! Finally Resistance got the place he deserves, congratulations !

THE PRODIGIES VS UNIQUE

The moment you have been waiting for... The Prodigies VS UniquE ! It was definitely an intense battle, but in the end The Prodigies pulled an impressive victory against UniquE with 4 wins to 2 wins ! The Prodigies are still rightfully the best team around.

Today's tournament: Winter's Prime was a success for the Prodigies Leader; Omega, as he achieved first place putting Team Unique's blah to shame and ending his win streak.

Today is a special day for The Prodigies as we launch the new era of the team: The Prodigies New Age

Mid 2011 onwards: The Prodigies New Age

The Prodigies New Age is a new start for the team, from now on we are committed to win.

On another note, The Prodigies have recruited WBO member: Mish. Congratulations ! Even though Mish isn't a full member at the moment, he will undergo Prodigies training.

Winters Prime - July 8, 2011 Melbourne

The team will undergo intense testing and practicing in order to do well in the upcoming tournament: Winter's Prime. All Prodigies members will be attending the tournament this time, including Tan who hasn't been to a tournament in a very long time.

Will The Prodigies prove themselves in the upcoming tournament? Will team captain Omega regain the crown, or will it be another Prodigies member? Vote in the poll to express your opinion !

The King's Downfall

BEYSTORM II wasn't a success for The Prodigies, as only the team captain Omega attended and unfourtunately didn't make it into the finals. He lost his tiebreaker match against tehfez (Who came second overall in the tournament), a great blader and a worthy opponent.

Until next time, The Prodigies are undergoing immense training.

Celebrating Melbourne's significant increase in Beybladers since 2009, the WBO brings you BEYSTORM II ! The original BEYSTORM in September 2009 was a failure since there weren't enough bladers that attended. Now that Melbourne is one of the most Beyblade populated states in the world, we are honored to revive the BEYSTORM name.

As we said before BeyDays, we were to decide a new member for the team !

After many tournaments and meetups of observing blader's skills and knowledge, The Prodigies have recruited Robsta! Congratulations!

Robsta has proven himself to be a great fit for the team, by winning BEY INFERNO and coming Second place in Day of Beys - BeyDays Melbourne tournament. He has also beaten The Prodigies leader Omega twice. Congratulations Robsta !

It's now a matter of a few days before BeyDays starts, and The Prodigies are ready for some action.

Tan, one of our key members has had to drop out at the last minute, unfortunately due to a major event he must attend to.

And what's this? A new recruit? You might be seeing a new recruit join The Prodigies after BeyDays. We will be allowing 1 person who we think deserves to be a Prodigy from viewing their skills and knowledge from Day of Beys - Melbourne. We already have our eyes set on a few people, we'll just have to wait and see.
